PRESTO Transfer station

PRESTO transfer stations are employed wherever large volumes of waste must be transported across long distances.

In addition, legal regulations call for the closure of more and more landfill sites. The result is: Residual waste and recyclables must be hauled across long distances to the closest treatment plants or recycling systems.

The relatively small payload of the waste collection vehicles and the associated high manpower requirements for an overland transport of the refuse are not economically justifiable.

Therefore, it has been proven advantageous to use transfer stations in this case in order to optimize the vehicle's capacity.
