Several PRESTO compactors for wet waste in use with a Dutch discount chain

A renowned discount chain has already equipped nine central warehouse facilities in the Netherlands with PRESTO wet waste compactors, type PHR 20. A special feature of this project is that the feeding opening is closed automatically directly after feeding the material.

Large amounts of cardboard – ideal food for an PRESTO auger compactor

Another large project has shown again how PRESTO auger compactors can efficiently be used for compacting cardboard in logistics centres. A company’s internal returns department uses two PRESTO auger compactors, type SPN 15 and two cardboard crushers for processing about 7,200 tons of opened and broken boxes per year.

Quality mark "Sicher mit System" for Safety Management System - PRESTO most successfully certified by "SmS"

After three years PRESTO has undergone the first re-audit for further certification up to October 2018. Thanks to our firmly established methods and structures in our daily processes we passed the audit by the Bremen-based Trade Association for the Wood and Metal Industry successfully without any findings.

Make sure you do not inadvertently put your staff in danger, risking loss of life and limb.  A brief lack of attention,  stumbling, or slipping on pieces of recycling material – it can be quick, and a worker can be helpless and slide onto the conveyor to the compactor. Experience has shown that emergency pull lines and light barriers are not effective enough.
