Several PRESTO compactors for wet waste in use with a Dutch discount chain

The organic waste is collected in large 1,100 litre bins and fed into the machine from a ramp by an elevated integrated PRESTO bin lifter. In order to prevent the entry of animals and pests into the PRESTO residual waste compactor an emptying door with all-around rubber seal and eccentric locking mechanism and a hydraulic lid were installed. This inside lid closes directly after the PRESTO bin lifter has moved downwards.

In two warehouses the PRESTO swivel plunger compactor is fed by stationary bin lifters that stay on site when the compactor is emptied. Usually the compactors are emptied every two days, when their weight is around 10 tons.

Do you also need to compact organic residual waste? If your emptying intervals are longer we also offer an odour-free version with a PRESTO ozone generator. Another option is a liquids drain pipe with a ball valve that allows you to drain any collected liquids before emptying the compactor.
